--- # THE GREAT LA RIVER CLEANUP 2018 Wednesday, Mar 07 ## THE GREAT LA RIVER CLEANUP 2018 Great LA River Clean Up / La Gran Limpieza is back! The largest urban River cleanup in America starts April 2018. For 29 years, FoLAR and our fellow Angelenos have cleaned the Los Angeles River and protected our oceans from trash and refuse. In 2017 we mobilized 10,000 volunteers to remove 100 tons of trash. Help us make 2018 even bigger. Join the movement this Earth Month as we come together to restore habitat, protect nature, and build community through the power of collective action. ## LOCATIONS FOR THE 2018 CLEANUP #### APRIL 14, 2018 UPPER RIVER Sepulveda Basin / Balboa Sports Complex [Register Now >](https://folar.org/take-action/join-the-cleanup/sepulveda-basin-sports-complex/) Glendale Narrows Riverwalk [Register Now >](https://folar.org/take-action/join-the-cleanup/glendale-narrows-riverwalk/) #### APRIL 21, 2018 MIDDLE RIVER Los Feliz Blvd at Bond Park [Register Now >](https://folar.org/take-action/join-the-cleanup/los-feliz-blvd/) Fletcher Drive / Bowtie Parcel [Register Now >](https://folar.org/take-action/join-the-cleanup/fletcher-dr-bowtie-parcel/) Marsh Park [Register Now >](https://folar.org/take-action/join-the-cleanup/marsh-park/) The Frog Spot [Register Now >](https://folar.org/take-action/join-the-cleanup/the-frog-spot/) #### APRIL 28, 2018 LOWER RIVER Compton Creek at Del Amo Metro Station [Register Now >](https://folar.org/take-action/join-the-cleanup/compton-creek-del-amo-station/) Willow Street Estuary [Register Now >](https://folar.org/take-action/join-the-cleanup/willow-street-estuary/) Golden Shore Marine Reserve [Register Now >](https://folar.org/take-action/join-the-cleanup/golden-shore-marine-reserve/) ## Event Information [ ![Brian Goldsmith Vertical R.
