--- # LA Budget 101 - a quick webinar! Wednesday, August 26, 6pm Monday, Aug 24 This is a quick Zoom webinar overview of the how and whats of the Los Angeles Budget with our Controller, Ron Galperin and Windsor Square’s Jack Humphreville! Everything you wanted to know about the budget but were afraid to ask in under an hour: Have you ever wanted to know how our city budget works? Where does the money come from and who gets to decide where it goes? What does the Controller actually control? You’re in luck! On **Wednesday, August 26th at 6:00pm**, the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council will be hosting a town hall that breaks down the whole process featuring Los Angeles City Controller Ron Galperin and GWNC's own Jack Humphreville, a longtime Budget Representative and Co-Chair of the Budget Advocates. Whether you're new to the city or a lifelong resident who simply wants to know more about how your local government works, we'll hope you'll join us!
