Through the loss of her husband, Brig. Gen. Tom Carroll, who perished in an Army plane crash in 1992 along with seven other soldiers, she turned her tragedy into a purposeful effort to create what is today the leading national program providing compassionate care for all who are grieving the death of a service member. **TAPS SOCIAL MEDIA:** Twitter: [@TAPSorg](https://u7061146.ct.sendgrid.net/ls/click?upn=4tNED-2FM8iDZJQyQ53jATUZWoJzoiYeJuvo0etpTon9g4i9riXCqMRNXQh1dEnofoQNJd_7BsT8QhHSoCH-2Fzkh6c3UqyFXz-2FutZqRemO1hqaTTKiEByTGas6oUyAZzAZYqkN2tPZ-2FhMv9SSgDthluPTiGGifXWJpBObD-2B6dJH-2FdttifKwMjOcEzFT7kPs4y8S48SWoFEhaoPpSQNXrUvgQruYVW-2Bc7aE22vo1f0i6J1H-2BT8ctGsvhCF1-2BaU-2B2CYioUK9-2Bhp1YKvgMNz9OfDaUVTG76FZtxaYM8KAzsBUa0n1fFlMdKU-2BF-2FXaweO4xOsUaggLa-2BIa5G87uslenvoFofSvIqfYE3taRHyKjJxtGWyi624BHabG1QHmPEvjQz22xb0I1FrqZckPI03x0piekbE6EpJ3cApSYYYa4jlyT6qIjD8eg-3D) Facebook: [Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPSorg)](https://u7061146.ct.sendgrid.net/ls/click?upn=4tNED-2FM8iDZJQyQ53jATUb8Hzhz9hTfMErRs-2Fni8h9hVGpIOdlKet2Tbj7EH-2BSiivlS9_7BsT8QhHSoCH-2Fzkh6c3UqyFXz-2FutZqRemO1hqaTTKiEByTGas6oUyAZzAZYqkN2tPZ-2FhMv9SSgDthluPTiGGifXWJpBObD-2B6dJH-2FdttifKwMjOcEzFT7kPs4y8S48SWoFEhaoPpSQNXrUvgQruYVW-2Bc7aE22vo1f0i6J1H-2BT8ctGsvhCF1-2BaU-2B2CYioUK9-2Bhp1YKvgMNz9OfDaUVTG76FSsHamRNAR8UNCjxcEWdqCJMk2WxsvOrZxVGfmkaz-2FJpCDh1wlrkJq2aek7oevY3OzntlcDZevIQKw1xUOgIqFvhlY2QpMWIkR-2B1XhAhm3hYPujPXbiJ-2Bw68K0Enu0lo1jNBYejMMzbMACehoFrAe-2BI-3D) Instagram: [@TAPSorg](https://u7061146.ct.sendgrid.net/ls/click?upn=4tNED-2FM8iDZJQyQ53jATUQbhiplhjyl4QcRwNc7RzVRaMByEQm-2BRCl37xl0j6icsNW8M_7BsT8QhHSoCH-2Fzkh6c3UqyFXz-2FutZqRemO1hqaTTKiEByTGas6oUyAZzAZYqkN2tPZ-2FhMv9SSgDthluPTiGGifXWJpBObD-2B6dJH-2FdttifKwMjOcEzFT7kPs4y8S48SWoFEhaoPpSQNXrUvgQruYVW-2Bc7aE22vo1f0i6J1H-2BT8ctGsvhCF1-2BaU-2B2CYioUK9-2Bhp1YKvgMNz9OfDaUVTG76FdtdwEKo8-2FgOw9hg3-2FBxREBZVJFphJFVkmLGcOFLwLlGj7yfLuWgMtHu5OiOi60Kkj6Gb8ftLB0YFGx-2F9j8TncUp88Z-2Ft2kUgCKKFc2QalgLdLDKYPY1gTEovscQC-2FuNLFbQ1RaTvoUXviL8PPr07uY-3D) LinkedIn: [Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors](https://u7061146.ct.sendgrid.net/ls/click?upn=4tNED-2FM8iDZJQyQ53jATUegha2L32XA5BGAQD-2FrrWT-2Bt0jKP3VHIayi1F103y6vA-2FxGDGt1vcux-2BoZ6YPr44B9ll1-2F2-2BlLafm7EOZ-2BhFnz3MzU5VoP-2FAfVe7e2yy4UvNsAww_7BsT8QhHSoCH-2Fzkh6c3UqyFXz-2FutZqRemO1hqaTTKiEByTGas6oUyAZzAZYqkN2tPZ-2FhMv9SSgDthluPTiGGifXWJpBObD-2B6dJH-2FdttifKwMjOcEzFT7kPs4y8S48SWoFEhaoPpSQNXrUvgQruYVW-2Bc7aE22vo1f0i6J1H-2BT8ctGsvhCF1-2BaU-2B2CYioUK9-2BhupRESeatnHliXGXKtXuZDDO-2BEM3HxdPQHI2iJA8KrukAqMb7bhzRHBVxNA46if3ln9K9NQE6pn-2Foo8pqvsf2O8xVyR0gnIlJWUQm3Kri2tzWZaAixnAuIOqdQbdI-2BlSJfkSBzonX2n31tmTtluhu4W1VRgM5mW-2FIUrreOBL9ACQ-3D) ## Event Information [ ![Brian Goldsmith Vertical R.
