**420 FILE**--The confectionery industry indulges consumers’ desires for sweets. They are typically classified by the basic ingredients of chocolate, sugar or flour. Within these categories are a wide variety of products, including hard candies, mints, toffees, truffles, and pastries. They are offered in a vast range of flavors, including chocolate, vanilla, peppermint and cinnamon. Many fruit flavors also are used.
Confectioneries have come a long way and in the cannabis industry, THC infused confections also known as “Edibles” have become extremely popular. Many consumers of cannabis prefer edibles over the traditional styles of smoking. In the Cannabis Industry, a varying menu of items give customers an opportunity to be discrete, while achieving their daily desired dose.
Scott and Kristi Palmer started the KIVA brand with humble beginnings, introducing their first THC rich chocolate bars in 2010. Today, the Kiva brand is a leader in the industry. What separates it from others in the cannabis confectionery industry is the technique used and quality of their brand; also, the focus on the taste of their products. They use the finest cold-water hash, distillates and terpene infusions. They offer a variety of chocolate bars -- milk chocolate, dark chocolate, blackberry, toffee crunch, mint chip, raspberry cream, dark chocolate CBD and espresso CBD bars.
Each bar is 100mg/10mg per serving, and the variety of confections does not stop at chocolate bars. The Kiva brand also offers Terra Bites, Camino Gummies and Petra Mints, each presented in a variety of flavors. The Terra Bites are a “Bonbon” type of chocolate that is offered in blueberry, espresso bean and their newest flavors, sea salt caramel and peppermint patties. The Camino gummies are offered in Sparkling Pear Prosecco, Blenheim Apricot, Wild Berry and Pineapple Habanero, each designed to achieve a specific outcome without the hangover effect that many edibles give. The Petra mints are sold in 2.5mg dosages that are perfect for those new to cannabis.
“*KIVA, confectionary delicacies designed for your true enjoyment.” - DG*
You can find Kiva Products at ERBA Markets in West Los Angeles.
