CITYWATCH TODAY—Los Angeles, actor and activist **Mark Ruffalo** says, is the nation’s **largest urban oil field**. More than 3,000 active wells pumping away literally in our back yards … and with devastating impact on our long-term health.
580,000 Angelenos live less than a quarter mile from an active oil well. Illness from this phenomenon is at a crisis level. Why aren’t our electeds doing something about it? Because, in part, it’s hard for the people … that would be you and me … to compete with the California oil lobby … that spent **$60,000 a day** … that’s right, a DAY … twisting the arms of legislators.
Ruffalo explains the weight of the crisis and tells us what we can do about it … in Today’s CityWatch. Lives are at stake. Truth has never been more urgent.
