About LA Superior Court Recalls

October 19 2019
Written by CityWatch.

LARecalls is a much needed and overdue Judicial Reform Movement. We can no longer sit by and watch our judges strip us of our right to be heard in the courtroom, ignore decades of precedent and Rules of Court simply because our self-represented status enrages them.

We are not all crazed litigants. Many of us are bright and are determined to get justice. Our judges are appointed by one man, our governor. They then sit on the bench for decades running unopposed when each term is over.

Most don’t even vote if they see judges on the ballot as we know nothing about them. Others who do vote merely check the box “LA Superior Court Judge,” when in that rare instance a judge actually faces opposition and is on the ballot. It is our responsibility as voters to learn about our judges. You may think this will never affect you but we can assure you we thought the same before we entered LA Superior Court.

Most self-represented litigants have the same story - a different set of facts but all the same story. Individuals losing their homes, their inheritance, their freedom, their children and their rights for no reason other than a bias court system taking advantage of them and presuming we won't ever appeal or ever fight back. And with there being no oversight we are the only ones who can stop this corrupt system.

If you or your loved ones were affected by the system please join in our movement. When contacting us tell us exactly how you see fitting in.

Do you have time to circulate petitions and gather signatures? Do you know anyone who will oppose our listed judges come 2020?

Are you a member of a church committee who would like us to speak at your church or next community town hall? If so please reach out.

There is power in numbers. The "Notice to Recall" for each judge is circulating, if you are a registered LA County voter and want to sign or donate, please contact us at inquire@larecalls.com.
