Angelenos’ Centrists Can Save America

THE VIEW FROM HERE - Both the GOP and the Dem are ruled by extremists, MAGA and Wokeism.  They hold power over the rest of their party because the extremists are well organized and their power rests in intimating the rest of their party. When push comes to shove, they resort to violence.  For example, the Woke forced Representative Adam Smith (D-WA) to vote an anti-Israel Massie Amendment. As Rep. Smith related, he, his family, and staff members had been threatened by the far-left wing anti-Israel wing of the Dem Party.  He further explained, “my family and I have had our home vandalized, a fire has been set in my driveway, a staff member has been physically assaulted and town halls shut down.”  Everyone has seen the January 6th GOP violate attack on the US Capitol.  Polarization begets extremism which always results in violence against citizens who do not agree with the extremist agenda.

The Most Powerful anti-Extremist Action

De-register from your political party, be from GOP or from Dem.  As long as you are registered, the party counts you as a supporter.  Statistics show that even party members who dislike MAGA or Wokeism are likely vote for their party.  Thus, as long as one remains registered, one has no voice in policy.  De-registering in order to become a neutral voter signal to the party leadership that it has lost your support.  That is when leadership begins to pay attention.  The more registrants the GOP or Dem lose, the weaker MAGA and Wokers become – in time for the leadership to modify the party’s platform.  Political parties are obsessed with one thing – winning elections.  The sooner they recognize that they are facing an electoral loss, the more likely they will temper the extremism. 

Psychologically, when one has de-registered, the party’s hold is broken.  Then, the voter is far more likely to support or oppose individual candidates and different policies.  The parties are sophisticated enough with their polling to find out if people support deportation of the worst of the worst criminals, “Yes, they do,” or indiscriminate mass deportations of long term undocumented, productive people, “No, they do not.”

The Unique Situation of Angelenos Voters

Because the local LA races are within the Dem Party, we can reject the extreme DSA, which wants to take over LA, without the worry that we will thereby strengthen Trump.  We have a choice between a run-of-the Dem mayor, Karen Bass, and Nithya Raman, the far left DSA choice, who has proven her anti-Semitism.  In order to win in the June primary, Raman voluntarily sought out left-wing extreme bigot, Hasan Piker, in order to live-stream her agreement with his viciously false anti-Semitic blood libels, i.e., (1) Israel is an apartheid nation and (2) Israel is committing genocide. Raman knew that hundreds of thousands of Los Angeles Jews support Israel, but she counted on the low information young Dem voters to support her woke anti-Semitism. Even the Protocols of Elders of Zion did not accuse Jews of genocide. The worst of medieval blood libels of poisoning wells and using Christian children to make matzah did not say that Jews wanted to exterminate non-Jews.  When Raman was later confronted in public over her accusation, she falsely said she had consulted with experts. She could not name a single expert.  Why?  There is no documented support for the genocide accusation from mainstream, recognized Western miliary experts.  While Wokers like Queers for Palestine and No Pride in Genocide repeat the genocide blood libel, they are political operatives.  When one knows about 1930's Germany, one recognizes that Nithya Raman and her Woke allies are following in the path of Joseph Goebbels, Julius Streicher, and Der Stürmer’s anti-Jewish campaign. The final solution did not arise until 1941.

With Olympics two years away, Nithya Raman says she will fire the Police Chief. People fear she will replace the chief with a Woke ideologue similar to former district attorney George Gascón.

The mayor cannot initiate the firing of the police chief.  If Raman were honest, she would not promise to fire Chief Jim McDonnell. Again, she panders to the young, low information woke base. Under the LA Charter, either the Police Commission or the city council must initiate the firing.  Then and only then may the Mayor fire Chief McDonnell.  There is no way in hell that Police Commission or the city council will fire Chief McDonnell.  With degrees from Harvard and MIT, Raman cannot be ignorant of the LA Charter.  Raman does not give a damn if her promise is 100% false. She plays to her woke base similar to Trump’s endless lies to his MAGA base.

How the Local Elections Can Harm or Benefit the Nation

With a DSA victory in Los Angeles, the racist anti-Semitic DSA will be strengthened throughout the nation. A DSA loss in Los Angeles, however, will tarnish the DSA.  Winning elections is the route to power, and DSA losing the LA election will strengthen the moderate Dems nation-wide.  While the Michigan Senate race matters, no other state has such a large Muslim community as Michigan.  What happens with Abul El-sayed is not easily transferrable to the rest of the nation.  Los Angeles, however, has historically set the tone for the rest the nation.  When we elected Ronald Reagan governor, the nation began to shift GOP. When we rejected GOP governor Pete Wilson’s racist Prop 187, California went Dem.

Thus, November 3rd’s local election can have profound impact on the rest of the nation.  Wokeism is more dangerous long-term threat than even Trump. Angelenos, however, have no say how well Trump does on November 3, 2026.  Our choice is whether to advance the extremist DSA.  Our national impact rests solely on our rejecting Nithya Raman and DSA extremism.  If Angelenos do reject Nithya Raman, we will set back the Woke, anti-Semitic agenda nationally.
