CITYWATCH TODAY—Only a fool would question the impact of climate change on our state and our lives. Our governor doesn’t question it. He just wishes he didn’t have to deal with the politics of it.

Belinda Waymouth wonders which Jerry Brown will step on the subject and where the truth is on who has Jerry Brown’s ear. She wants to know whether the Golden State is an environmental leader or liar.

I’ve always found the truth easier to come by when observing the subject’s walk, ‘stead of listening to his or her talk. Check it out. See what Belinda thinks, in Today’s CityWatch.

Speaking of communication signals...

Ken Alpern (‘What’s Next for Mass Transit?’) the future of transit in LA depends on who Metro’s listening to … the folks with a vision or the egoists who got us into this transit mess in the first place.

And, then there are the folks from Investing in Place who want a fair share of LA’s future transit dollars to toward making our miles and miles of broken sidewalks safe again.

Both of those pieces … and much much more … served up for your consideration in Today’s CityWatch. Check them out. Let us know what you think. We’re listening. We think that what you think … is important. That’s why CityWatch is all about politics and … opinions.
